Because we pull animals out of NYC Animal Care Center, we do not have a shelter location and rely on a combination of the Flatiron PetSmart and foster homes to provide the attention and space for rabbits under our care. As a fosterer, you will only need to provide the costs for food and habitat for the rabbits. We will provide and cover the costs for all medical care. Fostering is a commitment too, just as much as adoption, and fostering parents will be required to agree to care for their new rabbit roommate until the rabbit gets adopted.

The application process for fostering is the same as adoption, so prospective foster parents are expected to have done a good amount of research into rabbit care. If you are interested in fostering, please fill out the Google Forms adoption application, which can also be found on our adoption page.
