Happy birthday Betty and Petra! The girls officially turned one year old on February 9th. It's hard to believe that those tiny babies have grown into such beautiful rabbits. These charming Aquarius girls are binkying up a storm at Petsmart Flatiron where they delight visitors with their sweet natures. They're still looking for their forever homes so come by and meet these wonderful girls.
If you're interested in becoming the forever family for either of these girls have been looking for, please email adoption@bunniesandbeyond.org. 8/28/2018-
This is Alfred. He had an unfortunate run-in with a raccoon and is now under quarantine. He developed a horrible abscess at the wound site, which required an amputation of his leg. Because he had to lean his weight only on one side, he's developed sores on his other foot that require bandaging. He is still learning to be a tripod and his ongoing care will be both lengthy and expensive. Because he is under state mandated quarantine, he is unable to go into a foster home for 6 months. Even with a generous discount by our vets, this period is long enough that boarding fees will be a significant expense on top of the cost of direct medical care. Please consider helping B&B with the cost of his care. It would help give him the second chance he desperately needs. You can donate to Alfred at Bunnies and Beyond's PayPal account at donations@bunniesandbeyond.org. |

“It is bunnies like Benny who are why we started Bunnies & Beyond. Nine years old and with a medical condition, he was dumped at the city shelter like garbage. What chance would he have had of being adopted? Bunnies & Beyond holds a lifeline to these bunnies, putting them into foster homes, getting them the medical treatment they need and ultimately finding them a “furever” home. Your donations make this all possible!” You can be part of his story too by contributing to the "Benny Fund" at Bunnies and Beyond's PayPal account at donations@bunniesandbeyond.org. |
6/4/2018- Have you heard Elsie's incredible story?
Elsie had a legendary 21 babies in just over 2 months! Out of the 12 babies from her first litter, 8 survived and were sent out to NH partners by ACC. 8 of her 9 in her 2nd litter survived and one of them (pictured to the right) was even adopted by one of our amazing foster moms. The rest are being cared for in foster homes. Elsie would have definitely lost more babies in her second litter and may not have made it herself as she was so ragged and malnourished had Cindy not coordinated the rescue of this entire family. Elsie was an amazing mom and spoiled her little babies rotten, even letting them drink milk after her spay! We didn’t even know they could do that but Elsie did! Elsie is currently up for adopton and is located at Petsmart Flatiron. To adopt this wonderful girl, please fill out an adoption application and contact adoption@bunniesandbeyond.org. You can also help us rescue more wonderful moms and babies like Elsie and her family by donating through Paypal to donations@bunniesandbeyond.org. |

Safe at last!
A poor mom and her 9 babies were just rescued from a hoarding situation. They are now in an environment with a real litterbox filled with nutritious alfalfa hay and a room they can stretch their little legs and popcorn and Binky til their hearts content.
And Mom will have enough space she can get away so she can have some peace between feedings.
This is what Bunnies & Beyond does. If you can't help by adopting or fostering, consider sponsoring this family. Their eventual spay and neuters will cost over $1000. Donations can be made at donations@bunniesandbeyond.org
